Cleansing and purifying - gently shifting & re-aligning

 The nutrition program starts with the Morning Cleanse. As well as incorporating a gradual release of the foods known to feed the pathogens in our bodies, aka “no foods”. There are five levels of the “no foods” and we will be gradually taking them out level by level. Start where you feel comfortable and if you can, release them all by day 21 for optimal cleansing.

Morning Cleanse

In the first 10 days you will be doing the morning cleanse. This morning cleanse will gently prepare your body and mind for deeper cleansing and detox to follow.

When you wake up in the morning do the following:

1. Drink a pint or two pints (as you prefer) of lemon or lime water. This is a pint of water with the juice of half a lemon or lime.

2. Then wait 15 to 30 mins and drink one pint of celery juice. Pure celery juice, juiced in a juicer (not a blender), with nothing added to it. Celery juice is the most powerful plant medicine in the world and it works best when it is taken in this way, and for long periods of time.

If you haven’t had celery juice like that before and it is giving you diarrhoea or other troubles, start with a smaller amount, let’s say half a pint, or even less, and increase the amount as you go on, listening to your body’s response to it.

3. Wait 15 to 30 mins after your celery juice and have fat-free breakfast. Fats are oils, nuts, seeds, avocado, tahini, butters, nut milks etc. 
Ideally try to have raw fruits for breakfast, like a smoothie or a fruit bowl, but oats and millet, potatoes, sweet potatoes and squashes work fine too.

4. Drink a pint of water or coconut water post-breakfast.

Make sure that you are not consuming any fats until midday, 12pm, then continue your day as normal.

Eggs, Dairy, Gluten, Soft Drinks - be mindful of salt consumption

LEVEL 2

All of the above PLUS:

Pork, Tuna & Corn

LEVEL 3

All of the above PLUS:

Industrial Food Oils (vegetable oil, palm oil, canola oil, corn oil, Safflower Oil, Soybean Oil)

Soy, Lamb, Fish & Seafood (other than trout, salmon and sardines)

LEVEL 4

All of the above PLUS:

Vinegars (Including Apple Cider Vinegar)

Fermented foods (including kombucha, sauerkraut & cocnut aminos)

Caffeine (including coffee, matcha & chocolate)

LEVEL 5

All of the above PLUS:

All grains (oats and millet are ok)

All oils (without exception)

In particular I am in awe & gratitude to Martín Prechtel & the Tutuzil Mayan community. I honour their rich and deeply powerful embodied teachings, ceremonies and initiations.
